This project involved the transformation of a single-family rental property, converting it from a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home to a more spacious 5-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom layout. The renovation expanded the home’s functionality, adding two new bedrooms in the basement, a partitioned laundry room, and structural alterations to open up the first-floor layout. The scope also included a full kitchen and living space overhaul, bathroom remodeling, and insulation to meet current energy code requirements. Big Tent Design oversaw the entire process, from schematic design to construction documents, creating a practical and inviting space for both family living and hosting guests. The client was thrilled with the updated, versatile spaces across each floor, designed to enhance comfort and accommodate visitors.
