This project revitalized and expanded The Lid, an agricultural warehouse transformed into a versatile indoor play space for the UK Scouts Association. The design included a 300-square-meter extension to the north, providing additional room for activities, as well as the demolition of the adjacent ‘Storm Hut’ Lodge to create a new open lawn. Site modifications improved access and connectivity, while the warehouse received a complete exterior makeover with a custom-designed cement board and plywood rainscreen assembly. The thoughtful renovation and expansion ensured that The Lid continues to serve as a functional and welcoming space for the community.
